It Almost Never Happens
There are certain things that never, or almost never, happen in Oklahoma: a spring week with no severe to tornadic weather; a week of comfortable temperatures; a week of light winds; any time when almost all the lakes are full of water. All of these impossibles are taking place this week at the same time. When is the next time this will happen? Well, it’s a race between this and the next full moon perigee in 26 years. So, I know I’ve promised reports on previous paddle trips, and lots of pictures, but, hey!, I’m going paddling. Sorry.
